How to say "Yolŋu" |
The Yolŋu people have been living in Arnhem Land for thousands of years. They have a unique worldview that connects people to land and sea. Everything in the Yolŋu world has a place in a system of relationships. Detailed knowledge of the natural world has been passed on from generation to generation through sacred clan names, songs, ceremony and designs. Today Yolŋu have a rich heritage that they strive to maintain and share with other Australians.
